A quick four-day trip to Canada was the perfect way to celebrate Alex finishing his second year of medical school last summer! Banff is absolutely stunning.
Public parks are among my favorite things. Plants and green spaces right in the middle of urban sprawl? Yes please. The Vondelpark in Amsterdam is MASSIVE: 120 acres of grass, water features, plants, and playgrounds, planted in an already beautiful capital city. Lacey and I got to hang out there for an afternoon, and weContinue reading “Lacey in Vondelpark”
My family is moving back to the U.S. this summer after six years of living in Germany, and I’ve been realizing how many places I HAVEN’T been yet, even though they’re super close. Although I’ve flown through the Amsterdam airport and everyone in my family has been, somehow I hadn’t actually “done” Amsterdam–until this summer!Continue reading “An Amsterdam Adventure”
My best friend and I spent a couple weeks traveling in Europe to celebrate our graduation in May, and we spent three days in Paris! It was her first visit to one of my favorite cities, and we had a blast cramming all of Paris into less than 72 hours. I still can’t believe howContinue reading “An Adventure in Paris!”
With real life looming after graduation, it seems like everyone suddenly has a professional corporate headshot instead of a profile picture on Facebook. I was fortunate to get to hang out with my brilliant cousin and her equally brilliant boyfriend to grab a few quick shots of each for applications and their portfolios as ~realContinue reading “Lauren & Jonathan: Headshots”
“And I ask you, friend, what’s a fella to do / Cause her hair was black and her eyes were blue / So I took her hand and I gave her a twirl / And I lost my heart to a Galway girl” My eyes are blue, my boyfriend thinks my hair is black (it’s darkContinue reading “Galway Girl”
It’s not very often that your best friend gets engaged. It’s even less often that her boyfriend invites you to go take sneaky pictures of the proposal! I was SO EXCITED to help Alex plan the perfect proposal for Lacey, and even more excited and honored to get to play a small part in theContinue reading “Lacey & Alex: Engaged!”
I skipped class once to take pictures of some tall buildings downtown, while my boyfriend did interviews to eventually be a neurosurgeon.
A few days of spring break well spent road tripping to Switzerland to visit the highest point in Europe, the Jungfraujoch. The Alps are perpetually stunning.
Spring break was spent gallivanting around Europe and touring German castles, getting design ideas for our future home from the ruins of Rheinfels and the interestingly mixed architecture of Drachenfels.
