We don’t always need a full session to capture great images. Mini sessions can be a perfect solution for Instagram content and similar branding imagery. A restricted timeline means the setting is even more important, and a bright, snowy afternoon was perfect for these shots!

Dan & Megan
My first visit to Denver was a STUNNER of a trip, and Dan and Megan were the perfect hosts! We had such a blast spending the weekend with them. Their well-planned, multi-stop tour of Denver, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the surrounding area was amazing. Thank goodness they modeled for me in this gorgeous setting!Continue reading “Dan & Megan”
Iris: Portraits in Forest Park
Not only is Iris obviously beautiful, she’s also brilliant (future doctor!!!) and incredibly talented. I loved our leisurely photo walk, and we ended with a fun experimental indoor session after! This was a great reminder to make time for creativity.
Katie: Class of 2019
Katie is without question the funniest, prettiest, smartest high school senior I photographed for the Class of 2019. (Full disclosure, Katie is my youngest sister, and obviously I love her.) We shot Katie’s senior portrait session in downtown Annapolis, where my family spends time every summer. As soon as we parked, it started to rain–noContinue reading “Katie: Class of 2019”
Sam: Class of 2020
It’s always a privilege to photograph my family, especially for special occasions, and I love to celebrate my cousins during their senior year. Sam’s senior photos were so much fun in downtown Granville, OH! Even more exciting, we got to include a few shots in front of the restaurant where he works! Congratulations on yourContinue reading “Sam: Class of 2020”
Elizabeth and Julia: Class of 2019
This was a new twist on senior portraits for me: Julia and Elizabeth are TWINS and wanted to capture their senior year together! SO MUCH FUN!
Kristina: Class of 2019
Kristina ROCKED her session! We were able to photograph part of her senior session right in her neighborhood, just around the corner from her house, before moving to downtown Northville. I love when seniors tie in personal elements or locations to their portraits!
Kara in Forest Park
Fellow photographers are the BEST subjects! Kara and I traded portrait sessions in Forest Park in the fall, and I could not be more excited about how these turned out. Kara, you’re both beautiful and talented and I can’t wait to do this again!
Ashley & Grant: Engaged!
Ashley and Grant got married in Louisiana, but they wanted a mini engagement session in St. Louis before their wedding. They introduced me to Laumeier Sculpture Park, which was the perfect setting for this sunset portrait session!
Styled Session: Whimsy & Wildflowers
Bringing a little extra magic to the family farm with this styled session.
