Katie is without question the funniest, prettiest, smartest high school senior I photographed for the Class of 2019.
(Full disclosure, Katie is my youngest sister, and obviously I love her.)
We shot Katie’s senior portrait session in downtown Annapolis, where my family spends time every summer. As soon as we parked, it started to rain–no big deal, in August it often sprinkles a bit and then stops and goes back to sunshine. That is not what happened. It POURED for half an hour. Buckets. The streets were entirely puddles. It’s a miracle we didn’t get splashed by a passing car.
But we waited it out… and no joke, a double rainbow came out directly above the water and was Katie’s first backdrop of the evening. These are not photoshopped, that’s actually what the sky and Katie looked like. Katie is beautiful, and we had so much fun laughing through this entire session! Katie, I’m so proud of you, and I love you so much. You’re going to do great things, and I can’t wait to watch you continue to grow into a smart, confident woman.
