Not only is Iris obviously beautiful, she’s also brilliant (future doctor!!!) and incredibly talented. I loved our leisurely photo walk, and we ended with a fun experimental indoor session after! This was a great reminder to make time for creativity.
Laura is one of my closest friends, and I love how happy she and Eric make each other. They’re adorable, and when they stepped out of their car for our session dressed LIKE THIS I almost swooned. The dress! That blue is perfect on Eric. Lafayette Park did its best impression of a fairytale locationContinue reading “Eric & Laura: Engaged!”
Fellow photographers are the BEST subjects! Kara and I traded portrait sessions in Forest Park in the fall, and I could not be more excited about how these turned out. Kara, you’re both beautiful and talented and I can’t wait to do this again!
Ashley and Grant got married in Louisiana, but they wanted a mini engagement session in St. Louis before their wedding. They introduced me to Laumeier Sculpture Park, which was the perfect setting for this sunset portrait session!
I’ve fallen in love with St. Louis since we moved here in 2017. The city is a perfect blend of just enough going on and not too busy. From the Cardinals and the Blues to the skyline-defining Gateway Arch, I love the downtown area–it’s the perfect location for a portrait session!
This gorgeous couple celebrated their first anniversary with a portrait session in Forest Park! Anthony was a college wrestler and Justine was such a good sport learning a few moves as we were finishing up! They’re so cute together, and we had so much fun enjoying a beautiful fall afternoon.
These brilliant women graduated with Master’s degrees in Speech Language Pathology from Saint Louis University last spring and are already on to changing the world. Graduation sessions with friends are so much fun, especially when everyone brings their own champagne to pop! Congratulations, ladies!!
You don’t need a special occasion to schedule a portrait session! I loved hanging out with Eliza, Zach, and Freddie the puppy in Forest Park. Who doesn’t love puppy cuddles??
When you have a yogi friend, you take yoga pictures–it’s just a perk of the job. I got to hang out in the Missouri Botanical Gardens for an afternoon with the wonderful, absurdly bendy Vivian Lee and my sweet friend Mattie while they showed off how crazy flexible they both are! In contrast, I struggleContinue reading “Yoga in the Garden”
With prom season in full swing and my flight to Detroit to photograph my sister’s junior prom booked for next week, I remembered to finally post photos from my “prom” experience this year. Medical schools typically host a black tie event for students and their guests (me!) each spring, which essentially boils down to adultContinue reading “Med Ball 2018”
