Durham, North Carolina. Bull City. I’ve lived here for almost four years, and I’ve thought of it as home for almost a year now. I’d be lying if I said it was perfect, but I love it, and right now there isn’t anywhere I’d rather be.
It’s home to the Durham Bulls Minor League Baseball team, Duke University, and Dame’s Chicken and Waffles. (Even if I’m gluten free now, I can’t not recommend it as arguably some of the best food I’ve ever eaten.)
Maybe not the biggest or most impressive downtown I’ve ever seen, but it’s DURHAM, and I think it’s beautiful. I even have a new favorite parking garage. Enjoy these shots of a wonderful, welcoming city, and the first place I’ve lived where my driver’s license, car registration, and voting registration all list the same address!
